Here we are.

Here we are, in this moment.

You know the one. The guests have left or perhaps you saw them back home as I did this time. The dishes are done, all is back in its place, a place you have made for each thing and everything. And you are sitting, and reflecting, perhaps with a smile knowing that your guests experienced the pleasure of true hospitality. They told you so repeatedly, and these are not the kind of people who will say it without meaning it. It was splendid while being easy and comfortable. And you are experiencing it as well because it is true. Authentic. Heartfelt. It is your gift to others.

And you are good at it. It is not difficult and it is delightful. It is one of the things you most want to do: create a space, and invite others or another into it.

So, here we are: in such a moment.
