Question of the Day: “Is there a word . . . ?”

Is there a word (in English) for a kind of peace, surrounded by a certain anguish? For a hopeful doubt, but never a doubtful hope? For a calm, but within a storm? For an inexpressible delight accompanied by absolute misery? For a sure knowledge inside a complete mystery? For an intense longing that is almost fulfilled yet leaves you hanging on, reaching, beyond your grasp? For a vision without sight? A song with no sound? A feeling without touching?

If there is such a word, it is the Word of the Day.
