You have done it now.

Today is a big day, Waugh-wise.

  • I am off today, free from work(ing it all out).
  • I made sure that I am rested—I can hardly believe that I slept until 6:45!—and I feel sharp. Dreams galore, and I do not remember the specifics, but I still retain a sense of them. When I woke up briefly in the night, I thought yuck it is going to be tough if this is prophetic, but here I go. And then, I woke up in earnest.
  • I have a “meeting” toward Noon that could be one of those “life-change” encounters. I have no idea, really, but I do know that true sight may eventually come from it.

There, those three points sum up what is with me now. Right now.

I have this daily guided contemplation, the kind I have written of before: Remember, Read, Ponder, Prayer/Practice.

Here is the portion of the reading that is the focal point of the page, page 118 (23 April), in this book that was given to me at the Franciscan Spiritual Center, which is going to play a large role as the story unfolds. Somehow, I just know this . . .

Pslam 52:

8But I am like a green olive tree
in the house of God.
I trust in the steadfast love of God
forever and ever.
9I will thank you forever,
because you have done it.
I will wait for your name, for it is good,
in the presence of the godly.

I will thank you forever, because you have done it.
