Five Sheep, Four Goats

I like a room across a smile
Moment moments ever-while
I like dessert both first and last
A lavish banquet then a fast

I like to linger for a time . . .
The careful movements in a rhyme

I like the sun, and welcome shade
Twice the light that will not fade
I like the magic mystery
of not quite knowing what I see
I like a place that bears the mark
of visitation, beauty dark
I also like a fire burning,
rising smoke, skyward yearning
like the waiting as it’s ending:
All one story, weaving wending

And I like Five Sheep, Four Goats (click) and this pig (oink):
